Previously, he was at Stone Point Capital; Bain Consulting, Traditional Matchmakers and Beacon Group. Manny earned his MBA from Wharton (Palmer Scholar) and BS from Wharton (Magna Cum Laude).

Michael Pertnoy
Partner Michael is responsible for all firm operations and business development activities. He is an award-winning storyteller and innovation-focused corporate development executive with over 15 years of operational, strategic, transactional, creative and entrepreneurial experience. Previously, he was at Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, a subsidiary of MacAndrews & Forbes, and CEO of Righteous Pictures. Michael earned a BA from University of Pennsylvania (Cum Laude).

Partner Cort is responsible for Volery’s Investment process and serves on the Investment Committee. He has 11 years of experience in the financial services industry with deep private equity investment expertise. Previously, he was at Apollo Global Management, Neuberger Berman, and Nomura. Cort earned a BA from Duke University.

Previously, he was at MacAndrews and Forbes, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, Dimensional Associates, and JDS Capital Management. Danny earned his BS from Cornell University.

Impact Partner Ellen is a sustainability and impact measurement professional with extensive experience working with the private sector on social and environmental issues, developing impact frameworks, and sustainability standards. Previously, she was at Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Ellen earned her MA from Johns Hopkins University and BA from Johns Hopkins University (with Honors).
